Three arrested in connection with guns, car theft

Three people were arrested in connection with a burglary and auto theft in Cartersville, according to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office.

Zachary Wolff, Tiffianey Wells, and Cedric Ward were all taken into custody after two guns and keys to several cars were taken at Premier Auto Locators.

Authorities watched surveillance video and discovered that one suspect entered into a Jeep Wrangler for sale on the lot and drove away. A short time later the suspect returned in the Jeep and left again, according to police. After another short time, the subject returned with the Jeep, walked around the lot, and left again, this time driving off with a Chevrolet Silverado that belonged to the dealership, police say.

Later that day, the stolen Chevrolet truck was located at 1400 Joe Frank Harris Parkway abandoned and was recovered.

Wolff and Wells were arrested on Monday in possession of a gun and keys that had been taken during the burglary, according to police.
