One suspected thief is in custody and another in the hospital after a botched vehicle heist.
Atlanta police officers caught up with both men at Grady Memorial Hospital early Monday. The stolen truck was parked outside the hospital emergency room with a bullet hole in the back windshield. Police told FOX 5 one thief was shot by the owner of the Chevrolet pickup truck outside a home on Pryor Street in SE Atlanta. He’s now in stable condition. His alleged accomplice was picked up by officers at the hospital and is being questioned.
It’s unclear whether the shooter, the truck’s owner, will face charges.
