GoFundMe Campaign for Trooper Nathan Bradley Removed
The GoFundMe campaign set up for Trooper Nathan Bradley was removed Saturday afternoon.
The fund was set up on November 6th to assist Trooper Bradley with upcoming wedding expenses.
Erica Allgood started the page after Trooper Bradley’s kind actions sparked national attention.
Bradley was one of the troopers who responded to the Halloween crash that claimed the lives of Donald and Crystal Howard.
Bradley, along with a county deputy, and deputy coroner went to the couple’s home to notify the next of kin, and were greeted at the door by four children, ages 13, 10, 8, and 6 years old, all dressed in costumes and waiting for their parents to return home.
Bradley did his best to comfort the children and set up a GoFundMe Page for the children’s future.

Allgood was forced to remove the campaign after learning Trooper Bradley will not be allowed to accept any donations.
She told FOX 5 that all the donations made to the campaign will be refunded.
According to the campaign page:
“This page was created with the intentions of paying it forward to Nathan while maintaining the real reason behind the story, the Howard family. Due to being a state employee, Nathan cannot receive these types of donations. I am working hard and thinking nonstop of ways that we can pay it forward to Nate without him suffering any repercussions. Please contact the page creator with any questions.”
We asked GSP officials why the Trooper couldn’t accept donations and they referred us to the Georgia Department of Public Safety Policy Manual.
Ethics policy dictates “agency employees conduct its operations in accordance with the best ethical practices of our profession.”
Under the code of ethics no member nor any person on their behalf, ” shall accept gifts directly or indirectly” or any “honoraria whatsoever”.
Violations of the provisions of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. ”
The fund that Trooper Bradley set up for the Howard children is still going strong. That fund has now surpassed $400,000.
Trooper Bradley has been there every step of the way for the family. His friends said it is because he genuinely is a great guy and soon he will be a family man.
Trooper Bradley will be getting married to his fiancee Stephanie Humphries on Nov. 15.
