Gasoline supplies will approach normal in a few days
Business has been brisk at the largest fuel wholesaler in the nation located in Gainesville.
Andy Milton, of Mansfield Oil, says it is very good news that a major pipeline has been repaired and gasoline can be pumped again.
He acknowledged that shortages around the metro and in fact throughout Georgia have been inconsistent.
Whether you had to drive around hunting for supply is part luck and part how aggressive the convenience store owner has been trying to get more supply.
At the company, Milton says, trucks with full loads have been rerouted from other parts of the nation with no pipe problems to fill the pumps in the southeast.
But all of that costs more. And you have seen the rapid rise at your favorite station.
In a few days, Milton says, no one should have to worry. Typically, deliveries come in every five days.
