DeKalb officer placed on leave after arrest
A DeKalb County police officer was placed on administrative leave after getting arrested over the weekend.
The Clarkston Police chief told FOX 5 News that Marcus Route was arrested Saturday.Officers booked Route into the DeKalb County Jail on charges of battery, family violence and cruelty to children.
Police have started an internal investigation.
Route has been released on bond.
