Police: Two shot at Georgia State campus
Police said two people were shot on the Georgia State University campus late Monday night.
It happened in the parking lot of the Piedmont North student house center located on Piedmont Avenue NE near Ellis Street NE. University officials said both the shooter and the victim were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Police said the victim was able to jump the fence to head to a substation inside the Piedmont North building to alert police.

Investigators believe a drug deal prompted the shooting.
