Acworth Domestic Dispute Turns Violent
Police in Acworth are investigating a shooting inside the Enclave at Historic Acworth subdivision near Main Street.
Investigators said at around 7 p.m. Tuesday, a man shot his wife three times, and then turned the gun on himself.
Police could not confirm if this was an intended murder-suicide, but neighbors told FOX 5 that the couple is divorced and have two young children. Police said no children were in the home at the time of the shooting.
The couple was taken to Kennesaw Hospital and police said, at this time, they were both still alive.
