School officials identify brothers killed in Roswell wreck

Two brothers were killed in Roswell Monday afternoon after their vehicle smashed into the side of a school bus carrying special needs students.

The victims have been identified as James Irving Pratt and his 14-year-old brother, Joseph Thomas Pratt. Both were students at Lassiter High School in Marietta.

The accident happened on GA Highway 92 (Woodstock Road) near West Road. According to police, the car James and Joseph were in became lodged under the school bus after the wreck occurred.

Police said the brothers died in the wreck.

None of the students on board the bus were injured.

Only one westbound lane on GA-92 in Roswell was opened for about an hours following the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Police are also investigating a separate wreck on GA-92 in south Fulton County Monday that left four students from Langston Hughes High School dead.
