Riverdale double murder suspect surrenders

A man wanted in connection with a double murder at a Walmart in Riverdale has turned himself in.

Deanthony Ealey, 23, surrendered to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday without incident, authorities said. He is charged with two counts of malice murder in the January 13th shooting deaths of Aaliyah Royal and Cameron Woods.

Deputies say Ealey got into the rear passenger seat of a vehicle occupied by the victims and, minutes later, he shot and killed them both. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Walmart on Highway 85.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office at 770-477-4479.
