Today’s edition of GPB’s “Political Rewind” opens on the latest doings in the state Capitol – on the day that most legislation needs to pass one chamber or another to stay alive.

The stillbirth of casino legislation dominated the conversation.

We talked some of Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ dilemma in D.C., but finish the program by dissecting the latest Republican attack on 30-year-old Jeff Ossoff, a Democratic candidate in the race for the Sixth District seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Tom Price. He’s accused of drinking beer and dressing up as Han Solo during his college days.
