Elect Battiste Broadus
City of South Fulton
City Council District 1
Thank God for the opportunity of candidacy for the New City of South Fulton District 1. Also, thanks to my parents, Battiste and Linda Broadus, and other family and friends for your support. As a City Councilman, I will be active in the communityserving as the voice of the community and making solutions to the concerns of community members. I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of Florida A&M University where I was a member of the National Minority Championship winning golf team of 2000. Since graduating from college, I have worked as an engineer, an educator, a local business-owner, a high school and college golf coach, a golf course manager, a supervisor for a non-profit dedicated to community service, as well as working on successful political campaign teams. The same focus and teamwork skills that it takes to have positive achievements in those endeavors is what I will use to ensure the following issues are accomplished as City Councilman;
I will preserve all of the aspects of the community that make it a comfortable family environment while creating and supporting current resources such as businesses and community enrichment programs.
I will ensure that all safety precautions are being made so that all citizens can feel secure. I will make certain that education and our schools are a priority in order to bring crime to a minimum.
I will create resources that further advance socialization in between neighbors while exercising and being active in the community. I will promote the addition of healthier restaurants and grocery stores in the City of South Fulton.
I will inform citizens about and prevent higher property tax increases. I will be an advocate for small business expansion by developing networking streams within the community. I will emphasize the importance of positive businesses coming and thriving in our community.
Thank you for your support!
