The charges come after the 9-year-old boy was found in the trunk outside of a Georgia Department of Drivers Services office off Georgia 85 and Forest Parkway.

A Clayton County Police spokesman told FOX 5’s Aungelique Proctor someone walking past the white Kia Amanti noticed the trunk was cracked open and heard the boy shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

That person called 911, and the operator immediately dispatched Clayton County Police officers to the scene.
